María Julia Barrese

She has worked professionally in the Neuquén Province Judiciary since 1983, where she held the positions of Secretary for Original Claims and Extraordinary Appeals of the Superior Court of Justice of Neuquén (1991/1996), and Secretary for Original Claims of the Superior Court of Justice of Neuquén (1996 to 2008).

She was a Judge of the Civil, Commercial, Labor, Mining and Family Chamber of the Interior of the province of Neuquén, Office of Attention to the Public and Management of the IV Judicial District, San Martín de los Andes (2008 to 2020) .

She is Professor in charge of Administrative Law at the Catholic University of Salta (Neuquén Sub-site). She was a professor of Constitutional Law and Provincial and Municipal Public Law at the Universidad Nacional del Comahue Law School, until 2013 and 2009, respectively. Professor of "Legislation I" and "Legislation II" in the technical courses in "Programming", "Tourism Entrepreneurship" and "Administration" of the National Technological University, San Martín de los Andes classroom extension.

Author of the Administrative Procedure Code of the province of Neuquén. Law 1305. Commented and annotated jurisprudentially, published by PUBLIFADEC (Universidad del Comahue) and the Administrative Procedure Code of the province of Neuquén law 1305 amended by law 2979, Commented, updated and annotated jurisprudentially. Author of the work "Considerations on the Administrative Procedure in the province of Neuquén". Participation in various collective works and author of doctrine articles.

After her retirement as a magistrate, she joined the Burgenik Bertero & Asociados law firm as an associate in 2020.
